I really miss not being able to keep up on everyone’s blogs! I feel like I have lost touch with so many of you! Even if I don’t comment as often as I would like, I am thinking of everyone, and reading when I am able.

I actually wrote this post yesterday, with the intention of posting it last night. Well, needless to say, that didn't happen. And today, I have more to add. Reilly got into a fight at the babysitters today...with a porch swing. And the swing won. When she wakes up in the morning, I am pretty sure she will have one nice black eye. She was playing on the deck, and slipped and fell forward, while three other little girls were swinging, and they collided. It was completely accidental, but I know it really had to hurt, and scare everyone involved. She broke her glasses, and has a little cut near her eyebrow, but is otherwise ok. We got her glasses replaced this afternoon, thanks to Wal-Mart's optical department.

Each time she smiled, I thought something looked a little different, and I wondered to myself if she has always had that little space between here teeth. After I put her in the car when leaving Wal-Mart, I made her open her mouth, and guess what...one of her front teeth are loose. I started to freak the heck out calmly get her buckled in, and drive to my mom's. I wasn't able to reach her on the phone, and I was really getting worried. Finally, she called me back, and gave me an explanation that made me feel like a complete idiot. Reilly is starting to lose her baby teeth. Yep, she is old enough. Why that thought did not cross my mind, I do not know, but what a relief! I was so worried that I would have to take her to the dentist tomorrow, or that she would had bigger issues. It is possible that it is just a coincidence that she has a loose tooth this afternoon, but I think she probably loosened it enough for us to notice it when she had her collision.

Our yard sale last Saturday went wonderful! We sold over 75% of what we had, put some things aside to give to the Salvation Army, and are having another sale on the 18th. We have lots of stuff that each of us have accumulated over the years, and all of the profits from this yard sale are financing our one week vacation at the Outer Banks! Yippee!!! So far, we have over half of our vacation paid for, and are hoping to get the rest at our next sale. What a way to pay for vacation! Who said junk never pays???

I received the documentation regarding the Tiger II study we are going to enroll Reilly in. Everything looks pretty simple. The study lasts for 12 months, and she will have to be seen about 10 times. The worst thing will be the biggest thing Reilly dislikes...The Squeeze (AKA blood pressure). I always allow her to skip this in regular clinic because she freaks out so badly that they can’t get an accurate reading, anyway. So, I will have to start practicing on her so she will adjust and not have such bad anxiety over it. She will also have to do blood work, but hopefully that won’t be as bad as The Squeeze. She will also receive compensation for her time and travel, which I plan on depositing into her personal bank account. She has her own money set aside, from when she receives monetary gifts and such, so I feel like this would be the appropriate thing to do. Hopefully by the time she is old enough to put the money to good use, she will have the good sense to use it properly. HOPEFULLY! She also has a medical trust account that can be used strictly for medical expenses which she could put some of the money in, but I haven’t quite decided if I want to do that, or not.

We are trying to enjoy the summer as much as possible, but with work and everything else going on, it is difficult. I cannot believe that it is July and I haven’t taken Reilly to the beach at all. But, we will make up for it during our week there! An oceanfront cottage and all!

Poor Reilly!!!

I have been so busy, not even having time to open my google reader. I'm so glad I started reading again today! I think it's awesome that you have Reilly in a study-great job, mom! Samantha totally freaks out about "The Squeeze", so I know what you're talking about. I hope Reilly recovers quickly from her big accident. Sounds painful!

I've been thinking about you guys. Poor Reilly, I hope she's not too sore. Losing baby teeth always makes me a little sad, they grow up super fast. I love that you're putting the money in her account.

I'm so excited that Reilly is getting into the Tiger II study! It has been great so far for me, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys think about it.

Which beach are you guys going to on vacation? :)

I hope Reilly's poor eye heals up quickly!
